HCCC Serves will be volunteering at the Gay Men’s Health Crisis’ meal service where we will serve hundreds of members of this organization.

About this event

Volunteers will be serving the meal from behind the line (cafeteria style), assisting clients with mobility challenges, bussing trays, running the dishwasher, and cleaning up at the end of the meal. All volunteers must be over 18 years old.

Details to know and remember:

  • Transportation is provided.
  • A bus will leave the Journal Square Library Lobby at 2:30pm and will arrive back to campus at approximately 9pm.
  • There are no refunds if you miss the bus leaving to go on the trip. The chaperone will communicate the time that the bus will be heading back to campus. If for whatever reason, you miss the bus, it will be your responsibility to transport yourself back home.
  • Bring additional money if you intend on making purchases while on the trip.
